BICBIM successfully crowdfunded £10,645 from 112 supporters on Crowdfunder in November 2017.

BICBIM – ‘Because it’s cool, Because it matters’ was aiming to raise £10,000 to develop their new website and add 100 new ethical brands to their directory as well as continue writing investigative articles about the food and fashion industry.

To crowdfund a website is hard, but Lizzie, founder of BICBIM, partnered with many ethical product brands in order to be able to give away amazing gifts her audience would want. These included Able and Cole cookbooks, Union coffee, bamboo coffee cups etc. She also used her network to offer once in a lifetime experiences such as inviting a top chef Mark Jarvis to come and cook at your house. Lizzie also used a combination of online and offline marketing tactics to spread the word about her campaign. Crowdfund 360 worked with BICBIM to develop the strategy and content for this campaign.

Since finishing their crowdfunding campaign, BICBIM has now redeveloped their website and has now added 100 new ethical food and fashion brands to their directory.

Lizzie said this about her experience working with us, “Jes was fundamental to the success of our crowdfunding campaign. She is extremely experienced and knowledgeable and her advice was very practical and easy to execute. Jes tracked the progress of our campaign carefully and would message advice if she saw potential for us to catch an opportunity. Just as importantly, she was always available to answer calls, emails or whatsapps – and was always upbeat and positive. A pleasure to work with.”
