If you know me, you know I dislike Christmas. However, if I am going to buy Christmas gifts, I should probably buy Crowdfunded ones, right? I love supporting new and small businesses rather than the huge companies that do not get excited and do a happy dance every time a sale comes in!
Obviously buying a crowdfunded gift takes more planning as crowdfunded rewards sometimes take a long time to make and deliver. However, here are my 5 favourite gifts which have already been crowdfunded and are now available to buy and will be delivered before the big day.

These guys offer a selection of amazing foodie gift boxes, featuring some of the UK’s finest craft food and drink producers. Craved have run two equity campaigns on Crowdcube and many of the independents producers they support have also run rewards or equity crowdfunding campaigns too.

This website is an online marketplace of sustainable food and fashion. They ran their crowdfunding campaign one year ago to improve their website and add 100 new independent and sustainable brands to their ethical lifestyle guide. Currently they are promoting independent lingerie, jewelry, eyewear and accessory brands.

This non-fiction book aimed at those wanting to take control back over their lives and devices. The book was crowdfunded a year ago and has toured the planet helping stressed out tech addicts rebuild a healthy relationship with their devices.

Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls
This book is not just for girls. This book is for boys girls and even adults. The book consists of 100 bedtime stories of inspiring women, past and present. No more princesses and palaces, real women and their stories of science, art, culture, bravery are told to inspire a new generation. This crowdfunding campaign went viral, the team raised over £1 million in 2016 and although I am linking you to their Indiegogo page, the book can also be bought in Waterstones, WHSmith, Amazon and most other outlets now.

Obviously there are hundreds and thousands of other campaigns you can support. If you want to ensure the product is delivered by Christmas, take a look at campaigns which ended 6 months ago or longer and then check their website or Indiegogo InDemand pages. Alternatively, if you want to support a campaign that is live, you can always make your own giftcard for the lucky recipient, showing you bought them the gift, but highlighting it is not ready yet.
